When applying a nail form, ensure that the central line of the form runs straight with the finger and proximal nail fold.
When pinching the tabs to close the form, make sure that the tabs join together as that will give you a perfectly even c-curve with minimal correction needed at the end.

Benefit for sculpting on a nail form as opposed to nail tips is the ease of which you can pre – tailor a nail to suit different nail types.
The majority of clients will probably never need a nail form to be customized, but there are definite types of nails where additional customization will be needed.
You can choose to use small scissors or nippers to do the trimming.
